TARGET AUDIENCE
- Knowing Turkish sign language (only for deaf participants)
- Within 16-29 age range
- Who may participate in the face-to-face workshop in Istanbul by their own means (If a sponsor is found, the transportation and accommodation expenses of 5 deaf participants from outside Istanbul, who will be determined by the organisation board, may be met.)
- Who are deaf or have hearing difficulties and are interested in theatrical stage plays, storytelling and tale telling, and are engaged in or intend to be engaged in artistic production in these fields,
or
- Hearing young people who are fond of literature and are interested in visual poetry or in visual representation in poetry.
STARTING AND ENDING DATES OF WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
- 5 workshop activities of 2 hours each, via ZOOM, between 16 June and 14 July 2022, and
- 3-days’ face-to-face workshop activity in Istanbul University between 6 and 8 August 2022.
GENERAL INFORMATION ON WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES
- Applications filed for workshop activities will be assessed, and 15 deaf and 10 hearing young participants will be determined.
- Online and face-to-face workshop activities are free.
- Deaf and hearing participants will work separately in many sessions, but together in some certain sessions.
- Sound and video records will be kept during workshop activities, and they will be used only in the project.
